2025 Coverage Updates
- Annual Out-of-Pocket Cap: Starting in 2025, your annual costs for covered prescription drugs through Part D cannot exceed $2,000. After reaching this cap, you will pay nothing more for the remainder of the year.
- Deductible for 2025: Most Part D plans have a maximum deductible of $590 before coverage begins.
- No More Coverage Gap (“Donut Hole”): The coverage gap has ended. You now have continuous coverage until the out-of-pocket cap is reached.
- Low or No Cost Insulin & Vaccines: Insulin has a maximum copay capped at $35 per month, and recommended vaccines are covered at no cost.
- Prescription Payment Plan: If you reach the $2,000 cap or have high drug costs at once, the new Medicare Prescription Payment Plan lets you pay monthly instead of all at once. Ask your plan or pharmacist to enroll.
